Commission Terms

This document governs the relationship between me (ZLG) and you (Prospective Customer, or Existing Client). These terms were last updated 2026-07-01.

Product

Depending on what you're commissioning from me, I offer these standard assets:

NOTE: Alternative images resolutions and even assets (like PNGTuber sprites) are doable; these are simply standard sizes.

Commissions will consist of a folder containing your paid-for assets, a README file explaining how to use them if you're unsure, and a text file receipt for your records. This is then compressed into a .ZIP archive before sending to the customer. Most of the time, delivery is over Discord, but e-mail is also acceptable.

Source Files

Clients may ask for the source files used to create the commissioned work after payment has been cleared. Currently, this means a .XCF file from GIMP (a free software image editor) for high-color assets, or a .PMP from ProMotionNG (available on Steam) for pixel art assets. Web assets are already in source form, and no obfuscation is done to the code.

Delivery Times

Clients will be informed when labor begins on their item(s), generally because one chat or voice session is spent discussing the work to be done, ideas, target standards, etc.

I offer an optional Discord call to supervise the work and provide real-time input or ideas, as long as clients are respectful and do not waste the time they're paying for.

Revisions

I make efforts to have leftover time in the budget for iteration and revisions. Customer satisfaction is important, so I don't consider a commission done until my customer has confirmed it meets their requirements.

If something minor needs changing within 24-48 hours, I will spend a free 15 minutes of my time on whatever your change is. Any work beyond that will be charged for a minimum of one hour.

Usage Rights

Assets are created as work-for-hire, unless other terms are discussed in advance. In doing so, we enter a shared copyright where you have rights to use and remix the asset as you see fit, and ZLG retains the right to feature it in his portfolio, and be attributed as Artist for said assets on Twitch, or other relevant platforms.

If payment is not received within seven (7) calendar days of completion of the project, the client forfeits rights to the work. ZLG may integrate the work into his portfolio, at minimum. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis, with all real world factors considered.

Refunds

Commissioned assets are not eligible for refund. Clients are paying for my time and expertise, guided by their vision. A best effort is made to satisfy customers before the contract is completed. Some modifications or extras may be made without any dispute, if they are simple or fast to deliver on.

Data Protection

Any data shared with me stays private, on my local network. Other platforms, such as Ko-Fi or FourthWall, may gather other details as part of your transaction with me on those platforms. This may include details regarding what is being paid for, location data, or other profiling that I have no control over.

Shop Terms

All sales are final.
