The Web server of this machine gathers enough information to troubleshoot server issues and mitigate attacks, using the default logging facilities of lighttpd.

Here's a breakdown of an example log entry:

1. The incoming IP address. This is where your IP address goes when you visit a page on this server.
2. The IP address or domain name you used to reach this server.
3. The date and time of your visit.
4. The HTTP request your browser sends to the server.
5. The status code of your request. It's used (with #4's data) to detect problems on the server.
6. The amount of data (measured in bytes) returned from the server.
7. Some information about the browser used to issue the request.

In short, this Web server will only gather data that you send it as part of a normal HTTP request. Logs are kept for a week and then deleted, with no backups.
